The DCL graduate internship program is a paid internship program designed to provide recent graduates with useful hands-on exposure to the business world by providing solid on-the-job training and mentorship to Interns. Position Overview:

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager, providing support across a range of functions while developing a strong foundation in HR practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  2. Support the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  3. Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HR information system.
  4. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  5. Support employee engagement initiatives and help organize company events and activities.
  6. Provide administrative support, including preparing HR documents, reports, and presentations.
  7. Assist in handling employee inquiries and resolving routine HR issues.
  8. Participate in performance management processes, including tracking and documenting employee performance.
  9. Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute ideas for improving HR processes.
  10. Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. A recent graduate with HND or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  2. Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  9. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
